Super Bowl I. Original Program 1967 Chiefs Vs Packers
ORIGINAL PROGRAM 1967 CHIEFS VS PACKERS. This program has been in my desk for over 50 years. It shows some wear but very little for its age. It has been protected with a plastic bag sleeve since its been in my possession.
Bottom left corner is the only real sign of wear. The history of the Super Bowl program starts with the very first title game between the AFL and NFL in 1967. Although it was not known as the Super Bowl at that point, it would not take long for the name to become synonymous with one of the biggest annual sporting events in the world.
Although the first 2 games program shows no mention of the words "super bowl" those games would inevitably become Super Bowls I & II. At the time it was the AFLvsNFL World Championship game. This magazine is truly a piece of history. The Super Bowl is one of the largest spectator events of every year since 1967. VINCE LOMBARBI'S PACKERS VS HANK STRAM'S CHIEFS.There are probably no more than 5,000 of these things in existence. The true meaning of the word "rare". I will take offers but if you low ball me I will not even make a counteroffer. It is part of my personal history and I only part with it so I can continue to live with a roof over my head. I will wind up paying a balance.
